Hi, I would like to introduce
myself.
I completed my undergraduate studies at
Bradley University
with a double major in Early
Childhood Education and Elementary Education. After working for several years
in Peoria Public School District 150,
I decided to take some time off of teaching to stay home with my new baby.
After my second daughter was born, I became a "professional volunteer"
as I furthered my education and completed work on my Master's Degree in
Special Education at
Illinois State University.
I continued to stay at
home and our family grew as my husband and I had three more children (2 more
girls and a boy).
Now my family is
complete!
I am currently teaching fourth grade. I
think teaching is both exciting and rewarding. When I'm not teaching, I keep very busy attending a
variety of my own children's school and sporting events, cleaning my house, scrapbooking, doing laundry, buying and selling on E-Bay, playing with my kids at
home, reading books and playing around on the computer.
This is going to be a wonderful school year!
