Spelling

In 3rd grade each student has a personalized spelling list in order to individualize learning.  We spend time throughout the year pre-testing the students in order to  create a bank of spelling words for all students, this way no child has a spelling word that s/he already knows how to spell.  Your child's spelling list will come home in his or her Tiger Folder on the first day of the week.  Our tests will be on Fridays.  On short weeks we may not have spelling lists.  I will check the spelling lists for correct spelling; however, I occasionally make mistakes, so please be checking them at home as well.
