Camera Use Policy

Students may use cameras or camcorders to complete class projects only.

To use cameras during class:

1. I will unlock cabinet for you. Do not ask me for the keys to the cabinet.
2. Inside the cabinet there are check-out cards. Sign the card and print your name. Write the number of the camera you are using and the date.
3. Leave the card in the camera cabinet.
4. Returning the camera: Make sure you return the camera before the end of class. At this time, I will inspect the camera. I will retain the card as proof that you returned the camera.
5. You will need to fill out a new card each time you use a camera.

 

To check out cameras for over night use:

1. Only second year BAVC students are allowed to check out cameras overnight.
2. To check out camera equipment overnight, you must fill out a camera check out form.
3. The form outlines proper care and use of the equipment.
4. While equipment is in your possession, you must take responsibility for it. If it is lost, damaged, or stolen, it will be your responsibility to replace it.
