Assignment- Package Design-

Rationale: Almost everything we buy comes in a package. It either has a tag, comes in a box or bag, or has labels. You need to understand an object’s layout when you are designing it. Every designer’s portfolio should include at least one example of package design.

Directions: You must choose a box, measure the box, and lay it out in Illustrator. You need create an original layout of the design elements. All artwork, text, and color should be original. Be sure to utilize a warm or cool color scheme and black and white.

For both options make sure to include the following package elements:

Weight information
Ingredients
Instructions
Slogans
Logos
Type Levels- Headline, sub-head, body copy
You DO NOT need to include any information on the tabs (except the top tab).
