Package Design Directions
1. Create a
new 8.5-inch x 11-inch document.
2. Google search "box template"
3. Find a design you like and copy and paste it into your new document. Do this on the bottom layer. Create a new layer and set up guides showing the shape of the new box. When you are done, you can turn off the eye on the bottom layer.
4. Come up with an idea for a new product
5. Use a color scheme (use the "infohound" website and paste your color scheme into the 3rd layer of your project) Black and white can also be used.
6. Color the sides of the box
7. Create create a logo for the product and one for the company that makes the product. Each logo should contain art (shapes) and type.
8. It should be obvious what the product is.
9. Use clip art for the product
10. Print
your package.
11. Cut out
the package and glue it together.
