Stylized Poster Project

On occasion, drawing attention to one’s interest such as an event, a CD release, a movie premier, or just to bring awareness towards a point of concern calls for a cost-effective, easily produced medium. For years, many highlights have been addressed by short-run posters that ended up being tacked to light-posts, on the sides of buildings, stapled to bulletin boards in subway stations, bus terminals, and displayed everywhere in some fashion or another. In fact, it has not just become a delivery vessel that has stood the test of time, it has also become an art form in and of itself.

1. Recreate two of the provided posters included in the zip file, using Adobe Illustrator and or Photoshop.

2. Be sure to use matching colors that correspond with the poster you are recreating

3. Use different graphics than the ones in the poster. For example, instead of re-illustrating the gorilla, use a picture of yourself, a car, a dog, an can of A&W Cream Soda, or something else instead.

4. Use the same fonts, or recreate the fonts (for the titles) if necessary.

5. For the "Espionage" poster, you must create the poster exactly except for the secret agent's face. Use your own instead.

- Do the same for the "Chill Freeze" poster. Replace the face with your own.

6. Pay special attention to the dimensions listed under each poster. These are the dimensions that you are to use when creating your own poster.
