Directions:
Pull down your file menu and go to PLACE
When the image appears in your work area, select it and pull down the object menu and go to LOCK SELECTION.
Set the fill to none and the stroke to a thin line
Use the brush tool to trace the details of your face. Zoom in close and put enough details so that the picture looks like you.
Create a new brush using the following directions
Draw a simple shape using the pen tool
drag the object into the brush palette. When the new brush dialoge box comes up, pick ART BRUSH. When the colorization box comes up, pick hue shift.
Apply the brush to your finished drawing.
Use the scissor tool to cut lines where you need to change them and the direct selection tool (white arrow) to edit anchor points.
Reduce or enlarge the stroke thickness where necessary.
