Tom Cowdery Tom Cowdery

Tom has taught mathematics at Bloomington High School for the last 24 years.  He also serves as the webmaster for the BHS Math Department.  In the past, he has served on the BHS technology committee, and continues to work for the appropriate integration of technology in the classroom.

Tom’s hobbies include computer programming, trapshooting and western dancing.  He has combined his programming hobby with his vocation by creating several applets written in the Java programming language that can be used to reinforce various algebra skills.

Tom has served as an instructor for the Feast since its first year in Bloomington.  His favorite part of the Moveable Feast (other than the food, of course) is working with those teachers who are just beginning to explore how to use technology.

When Tom is not finding new, and unique ways to spike Jim's coffee, he can help you with most of the Office applications - including Access.  He can also help with many of the other applications such as Paint.net, Moodle, WordPress, and many others.
