Eden Davis grew up in Jefferson City, Missouri. She graduated from University
of Missouri - Columbia (GO TIGERS!) and began teaching in Shawnee Mission, Kansas
as a special education teacher. Later, she also taught 6th grade and 3rd
grade in Raytown School District.
Mrs. Davis and her husband, Larry, lived in Kansas City, Missouri for ten
years before moving to Illinois. They have two children: a son, Drew (29), and a daughter,
Abby (25).
Mrs. Davis took a few years off from teaching to raise her family. During that time, her family
moved to Bloomington. She returned to teaching first as a substitute,
then as the SIP teacher at Oakland. For a few years, she also worked at
Oakland as the Reading Intervention teacher. In 2004 Mrs. Davis took a
classroom position as a third grade teacher.
