Curriculum Overview
In the classroom, students will develop a wide variety of mathematical skills. Students will focus on using all four operations with whole numbers and integers. They will increase their ability to solve expressions and equations as well as use geometry formulas to evaluate real-life application problems. Another major focus in the math curriculum is to analyze and solve simple and complex word problems. Students will be using a new textbook named Math Matters 1 this school year.

- Binder (for all of your classes)
- Folder (Blue if possible)
- Pencils
- Blue Spiral Notebook
- Loose leaf paper
- Highligher
- Pack of 4x6 Index Cards
- Calculator (If you have one)
