Kindergarten - 2nd grade

M  Student followed most of the guidelines/little room for improvement

NI  Student did not follow many guidelines/much room for improvement

Report Cards

Students will receive grades in art based on four categories:

1.  Understands Art (Elements, Principles, Vocabulary)

2.  Creates Art (Media/Techniques)

3.  Art in our Lives (Culture/History)

4.  Behavior and Participation

Classroom Rules/School Rules

1.  Respect others, self, & property

2.  Follow Directions

3.  Think Safety

Classroom Consequences

1.  Verbal warning  

2.  Note home & time out chair

3.  Note home, time out chair, and conference with student

4.  Send to another classroom to recover and conference with student

5.  Send to principal's office
