Positive Reinforcement: Character Counts: A student can earn a Character Counts slip, to turn into the office, for demonstrating the pillar for that month. The pillars are: Responsibility, Trustworthiness, Respect, Citizenship, Fairness, and Caring. After they have turned in their slip, it will be posted on the Character Counts Bulletin Board outside of the cafeteria. At the end of the month, the slips will be pulled down and four names from each classroom will be drawn for a prize. Warm Fuzzy: They can also earn a "warm fuzzy". The warm fuzzies are little pom pom balls. If they are caught acting good, they earn a warm fuzzy to put into their container in their desk. Once they reach five warm fuzzies, they get to pick a prize out of the prize bag. Your Character Does Count!! |
