The Herb Guild of McLean County is a fun, interesting, and informative group. The guild was established in 1989. Follow the links below to become acquainted with the Herb Guild and some of our events. At the present time, we maintain two herb gardens in the community. Guild members participate in various community events throughout the year: Ecology Day (Miller Park Zoo), Hedge Applewood (Ewing Castle), Dimmitts Grove Annual Sale, Victorian Gardens at Clover Lawn (David Davis Mansion Festival, Fall Prairie Festival (Stevenson School). . .

The Herb Guild of McLean County tends two gardens in the community.

The Funk Prairie Home Garden was developed in 1991. A knot garden (lavender, cheddar pinks, and germander) was established three years ago. Medicinal, Biblical, Dye and Moon gardens surround the herbal knot center.

Members work to maintain the garden on Wednesday evenings 6:00pm - 8:00pm and on Sunday afternoons 1:00pm - 3:00pm.

The Constitution Trail Garden concept was approved this past spring ('97). The culinary will be the first area planted. Plans are being developed for the accompanying gardens, members are encouraged to contact the garden coordinators:
