Welcome to 8B Mathematics!
The content for all 8B math classes is located at District 87's
Moodle
Server. Access course content by enrolling in Algebra, Algebra Pt 1,
or Pre Algebra. Moodle is a restricted environment which allows me to
provide you with copyrighted materials, and resources in an active
learning environment.
Parents
I have set up a
guest access at
Moodle to enable you to enter the course and become Moodlers. Guest access will allow you to view
assignments, course
materials and resources. A "key" is needed to enter the
course as a guest. Please
contact me (or have your student ask me) and I will send
you the enrollment key for the course. You can also use your student's
log in to gain access.
Please don't hesitate to
contact
me should you have any concerns regarding your child's progress.
Early intervention is best. The fastest way to contact me is via email,
however, please feel free to call me any time you have a question.
Students
Course materials such as online texts, assignments, notes, worksheets, lesson videos, interactive quizzes and interactive resources can be accessed through
the District's
Moodle Server.
Check it daily to get assignments, check grades, use the online text, watch lesson videos, take interactive practice quizzes, and download worksheets. There is a lot of information in Moodle that will help you learn! Be sure to check Moodle if you have been absent. If you do not have Internet access at home you can use Moodle
when you are at school. Before school or during E&R are good times to use the computers available to our team.
