This will be my 12th year of teaching. I was in third grade for 8 years and taught a 3/4 split for one year, and then fifth grade last year. I am happy to be back "home" in third grade!

I am married and I have two children of my own. Casey is 8 and will be in third grade and Mason is 4 and will be in preschool this year. I love spending time with my kids. They love swimming, parks, playing outside, and reading together. My kids have a dog named Carly.

I graduated for Normal Community in 1996, and Illinois State in 2000. I returned to school and received my Masters in Reading in 2006. I love school and love to learn. Guess that's why I became a teacher. I can remember wanting to be a teacher since I was in kindergarten!
