• I am married and have two daughters, Emily and Kayla.  Emily is 9 years old and Kayla is 8 years old.
• This will be my 17th year teaching 7th grade Math.  I have been at Bloomington Junior High School for the past six years.
• I was born and raised in Bloomington.  I am a graduate of Bloomington High School.  I received my Bachelor's degree from Illinois State University with a major of Junior High/Middle School Education.  My specializations were Math and Physical Education.  I received my Master's degree from Aurora University.
• In my spare time, I like to read, watch TV/movies, quilt, and spend time with family & friends.
