Meet Mrs. Lamberti

Hi!  I am Debbie Lamberti.  I have been teaching, well, many, many years.  I have taught in Bloomington since 1990.  I am originally from Oglesby, Illinois, a small town about an hour north on I 39.  My first teaching job was in Oglesby where I taught a resource class serving kindergarten through eighth grade. I then taught adapted PE and primary special education in Pontiac Illinois.  Once my kids were in school, the daily commute was tough and I came to Bloomington.  I started teaching at Sheridan School and then moved to Raymond School to work with the youngest Bloomington students.
My husband's name is David and is retired from land surveying.  We have 2 sons, Dario and Derek.  Dario and his wife Jen have a son named Joseph and will be adding the the family in December.  (I am a very proud grandma!)  Derek graduated from Illinois State University in 2008.  He works for town of Normal and is looking for his career job.
