Soon to be Mrs. Carter

I am originally from Bolingbrook, IL. Currently I reside in the Bloomington/Normal area with my fiancé who works at Illinois State University. We will be getting married June 26th, 2010!  My family also consists of my mom and dad, two sisters and one brother. I have seven nieces and nephews, six of them are under the age of 5.

This is will be my sixth year in First Grade! I taught three years in LaGrange, IL and student taught for an entire year at Thomas Metcalf in Normal, IL. This is my second year in Bloomington!

I have a B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Illinois State University. I have a M.A. in Educational Leadership from Concordia University.

First Grade is my passion, students are excited to learn and they grow so much in just one year. The progress each student makes in reading, writing and math is amazing!
