American History

Dear Students and Parents,

Welcome to 8J American History with Ms. Law!  This year's curriculum will begin with a quick survey of early North American civilizations and finish with the emergence of the U.S. as a world power.   In this course we will emphasis improving reading skills,  vocabulary acquisition, and comprehension. Our curriculum focuses on student literacy, including the ability to read and understand maps, charts and graphs. I hope that your student will enjoy this journey through time.
