5 SENSES
OBJECTIVES: To know the importance, parts and functions of all the sensory organs.
CURRICULUM: Students take for granted the sensory organs that they are supplied with at birth. Within this unit we will guide them thru a sensory organ process of reception. A basic understanding of all 5 sensory organs will gained and also how to protect the sense organs for life.
MATERIALS USED: Charts, models, testing equipment, diagrams and lecture will be used to help the students better understand their sensory organs.
HANDS ON LEARNING: Within this unit charts and graphs will be used to explore the depth of the 5 senses. Peripheral vision, blind spot and vision/sound reaction time will be tested.
