
Project Reality
Instructor: Delaine Jones, Catholic Charities
Curriculum: Abstinence Education. The program will be based on personal choices and reactions to situations within adolescence growth and behavior. The program will also focus on adolescent self esteem and the respect of others.
Materials used: Lecture, video and a slide show will help to explain the idea of abstinence.
Hands on: Many different scenarios will be used to help the students understand the importance of their actions before consequences determine their future.
The following notification is required to be returned if the parent does not want their student to attend the class. If the student does not attend the class then the student will be assigned library work during the time that the speaker is in class.

Curriculum: Stepping Stones will introduce proper and improper ways for relationships.
* Help students identify potentially violent relationship.
* Provide factual information about sexual harassment and other forms sexual violence.
* Equip students with preventative measures regarding relationship violence.
* Educate students about the services that are available for survivors of relationship violence.
Materials used: Lecture, small group, interactive myths and facts and a video will help to introduce the improper behavior that the students may not be aware is improper.
