Mrs. Marriott’s Classroom Rules

1.  We will respect each other.

a.   Don’t talk while another person has the floor.

b.  Keep your hands to yourself

c.   Don’t make jokes at someone else’s expense.

2. No cell phones. - If I see them I will take them and give it to your dean.

3.  This is a profanity free zone.

4.  You may write legibly in pencil or pen.

5.  Stay in your seat, if you need to throw something away make sure you wait for an appropriate time. (While I'm talking is not an appropriate time.)

6.  You will be tardy if you are not in the room when the bell finishes ringing. I would prefer you are in your seat.  You must have a pass for any tardy greater than 5 minutes.

a.   First two tardies are freebies. 

b.  Tardy three, six, nine and twelve will be turned into the office.

Consequences for breaking the rules.

1.    After school detentions will be assigned for breaking the rules.

2.    Detentions will double in time for each infraction, up to 40 minutes.

3.    Parent phone call.

4.    Referral.
