              This is my 8th year as a Moveable Feast trainer.
                My advice for teachers attending the Feast ...

1. Sample the tech buffet, but concentrate on just one or two programs or skills that are new to you. You'll feel great going back to school in the Fall if you create even one new lesson to use with students.

2. Use this opportunity to meet and network with other teachers outside your district who have common interests. They can be a helpful resource when you have tech questions or problems (and it makes the Feast a lot more fun!)

:: BIO ::
After 14 years as an elementary art teacher, I was very burned-out; I decided to stop whining and do something about it by earning an MLS degree at UIUC with a Library Information Specialist endorsement. I love the techie stuff, and who knew, I also learned to love books, particularly books for young adults.
In 2004/2005 I accepted the offer to become a school media specialist and webmaster for Irving School in Bloomington, a K-5 building. In 2005/2006, I moved over to BJHS as their webmaster and media specialist, and I plan to continue in that position for many years.
In November of 2008 I achieved National Board Certification in Library Media.
