Fundraisers

Each year, orchestra students have the opportunity to raise money for the orchestra trips.  Profits earned are kept in each student's "account".  This money can then be applied toward the balance of the annual orchestra trip.  Money earned throughout the years will be kept in each student's account while the student is enrolled in orchestra.  If a student is offered a donation in lieu of selling a product, that donation will be credited to his/her account.
Students are not required to participate in the fundraisers.

The  Orchestra participates in two fundraisers each year:

 

Denny's Doughnuts                  

Interested students will sell Denny's Doughnuts items from September 9 to September 18.  All orders and money will be due on September 18.  Items will be delivered to the BHS Orchestra room on September 24.  Everything must be picked up after school between 2:15 and 4:30.  Because the items are perishable, they should be delivered to your customers as soon as possible.

Please make  checks payable to BHS Orchestra.

The following items will be sold:

  • Muffins (6 pack)-  $4.50

  • Coffeecake- $7.00

  • Brownies-  $7.00

  • Bagels (6 pack)- $5.00

  • Sweet rolls (9 pack)- $7.00

  • BHS Raider cookies (1 dozen)- $7.00

 

Evergreen Wreaths and Roping            
Each year, the music department offers Evergreen Wreaths and Roping for sale.  The items are delivered fresh from Belle Plaine Nursery in Iowa.  These items are very popular and sell easily.  We have many people who call each year so they can be included in the sales. 
We will be selling the evergreen items from October 21-November 4.  All orders and money will be due on Tuesday, November 4.  Make checks payable to BHS Orchestra.  Items will be delivered on November 24 and can be picked up from 2:30-6:00.  Everything will be on the auditorium stage or outside the auditorium's backstage doors.

  • 30" wreath= $20.00

  • 48" wreath= $35.00

  • 60" wreath= $52.00

  • door swag= $13.00

  • candy cane= $18.00

  • 25' roping= $22.00

  • 50' roping= $33.00

  • 100' roping= $55.00
