Colloquy

Little information is available about Abbe Gesben, the composer of “Colloquy”. It is known that he is a 1964 graduate of Indiana University. He is listed as an arranger of piano and vocal music and appears as a contributor on the CD “Bloodletting”, performed by Concrete Blond.

“Colloquy” was written for string orchestra and was published in 1973. The directions for the piece say “very slow and flexible”. The overall mood is one of reflection and reminiscence.
