The focus of the Orchestra project for this year will be on conducting.  Every student has received a conductor's baton to use in class.  The students will learn how to hold the baton correctly and use good technique in their motions.  They will also do some simple music score-reading.  By the end of the year, each student will have the opportunity to conduct the orchestra.
