Interactive Whiteboards

The whiteboard is used in combination with SMART's Notebook™ software to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.

 

Getting Started:

Click HERE to download a record of the following steps.
1.  If you have access to a SMART Board™ within your classroom, record its serial number.  Use this serial number to obtain a product key.
Click HERE for quick access.
2. If you do not have an actual SMART Board™, but would like to experiment with the software, ask your building media specialist for the District's product key.  If s/he does not know it, submit a helpdesk ticket.
3. Navigate to SMART's™ download page.  Click HERE for quick access.
4. Click the small, blue arrow beneath the first section labeled "SMART Notebook collaborative learning software."  Click the "Windows" option.  To obtain all of the features associated with the Notebook software, look for the phrase, "Complete installation with SMART Notebook software and SMART Product Drivers."  Then, click the blue, rectangular "Download" button.
5. During the download, be prepared to type in your product key.  You will be prompted within a small screen, so carefully read each pop-up window.
