Mrs. O'Grady
Hello! My name is Erin O'Grady and this is my seventh year of teaching - six of those years have been at Stevenson. I am a graduate of Illinois State University's special education department. Throughout my years of teaching and learning I have come to understand the importance of developing independence and self-reliance in children. In my classroom I work to develop children's abilities in academics, self-help skills, behavioral skills, communication, and recreation. My classroom is set up in a structured format that allows for individual and small group instruction, independent practice, and larger group activities.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, our dogs, family, and friends. When time allows I enjoy reading, cooking, running, swimming, and boating.
