Your group will learn how businesses are run and
important factors you need to consider.
You will then decide on the type of business you feel the class should
run, determine the demand for this product or service, survey students,
parents, and/or community members, decide on estimated cost and profit,
complete a grant proposal, and create a PowerPoint presentation to convince the
rest of the class that your business is the best one to implement. The class will decide which of the
businesses will actually submit a grant application for possible funding.
