You will be going on  an adventurous field trip to wildlife prairie park in  Peoria, Illinois.  Your assignment, should you choose to accept, is to create A fun-filled schedule for the entire day.

Task

You will work with a partner to plan an appropriate time schedule for the day at wildlife prairie park. You must depart from davenport at 8:45 and must return at 2:30.

PROCESS

 

  1. Pick your partner.
  2. Pick up blank schedule form and activity list from your teacher.
  3. determine total minutes available.
  4. divide total minutes into the 10 activities on your list. Be sure to remember  to set aside the appropriate amount of time for each activity.  For example, do not plan an hour in the restroom.
  5. Click ON BUS RIDE to find time needed.  BUS RIDE
  6. fill in the schedule sheet in the order of how you will spend your day.  Please list each activity with its scheduled time. For example, 10:00-10:20 – view slides of the park.
  7. figure the elapsed time of each activity to complete your worksheet. To improve your skills choose 3 of the 6 websites to practice.
  8. make sure all of your elapsed times equal the total time of the trip.
  9. check your work for neatness and turn in both sheets when you are finished.
