  • 11.1 page 514 (1, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 17)

  • 11.2 page 519–522 (1(bc),3,10,14,15,18,20)

 Objectives:  

  1. Find the areas of trapezoids, rhombi, and kites

  2. Use the measure of a trapezoid’s median to find its area

  • 11.2 page 519–522 (21,22-25,32)

  • 11.3 page 525 (9-12)

  1. Find the areas of triangles using Hero’s formula

  2. Find the areas of cyclic quadrilaterals using Brahmagupta’s formula
