Pythagoras, a Greek mathematician is said to have discovered the "golden ratio" which is used to determine the golden rectangle.  Many famous artists, architects, and musicians have discovered the beauty of the golden ratio!  The golden ratio has been of interest people throughout history!

During this project, discover what makes this ratio so "golden".

There are many things related to the golden ratio.  These include:

  • the golden rectangle
  • the golden section
  • Fibonacci numbers
  • Kepler triangle
  • (Golden) Sublime isosceles triangle

Download these files and save them in your directory for easy access as you complete your project:
