Friday, February 27                            9.1 – Properties of Parallelograms

Objectives:  After studying this section you should be able to

  • Define a parallelogram:___________________________________________________________
  • Write and recite theorems related to parallelograms

  • Use the theorems to find measures of angles and sides of a parallelogram.

Activity:  learn to cut a parallelogram without right angles out of a rectangular piece of paper, and investigate properties of parallelograms. 

Homework:  Read and take notes on section 9.1 (p. 446-450) and do p. 451 # 1 – 27 odds.

Objectives:  After studying this section you should be able to
