This Web Page is for a high school Geometry class. We did a project on tension and compression with manila folders. We were given 25 manila folders, Elmer's Glue and paper clips, and told to design a structure that would hold at least 25 lbs and be at least 9 inches tall. We were given 9 days to do research and construct the structure. Our research included answering questions on the the teachers web site. We also had to contact engineers and ask them questions about tension, compression, and rigidity.
