While being the materials engineer it was important for me to find out about the materials such as the paper and glue. Paper is usually determine by grades and basis weights. As for the grades there are five basic types: bond, offset or uncoated book, coated book, text, and cover. The basis weight, of what people usually look for, varies depending on the grade. When making paper stronger you could go about in different ways. Corrugation is one of different ways of going about making it stronger. As you can see in the picture above, we corrugated the triangle so it could hold more weight. Another common way of making paper stronger is changing the grade of the paper (more information was provided above about the grade).
