Web pages can be written easily with a knowledge of HyperText Markup Language (HTML), notepad (or simple text on a mac), and a browser (netscape or explorer). For more advanced effects, you can add java applets, java, visual basic programming, cgi, perl, virtual reality modeling language (vrml), etc. But, if you don't want to program, there are many software packages available to make your job easier. Even with these editors it is to your advantage to know a little HTML that will allow you to customize/fine tune even the best of these editors. Below you will find many online resources to extend your knowledge and use of the languages of Web Pages.
