Reading 1 has a Good Books Unit project due on Tuesday, November 25^th. Students have had the criteria for the project since October 21^st. If your student is in Reading 1, please check on his/her progress. This is a large portion of the 2^nd quarter reading grade.

Midterm for the 2^nd quarter is November 17^th. Midterm grades will be mailed to you later next week. The end of the 2^nd quarter is December 19^th.

Each student was given his/her login and password to access grades on Skyward.  Mr. Barbic's grades and Mrs. Reed's grades are on Skyward. 

Study Club is Monday through Thursday from 2:45-3:30.  Students will need a way to get home after Study Club.

The photo story that was shown at Orientation on 8/19 can be viewed from the website picture page.

You can access student on-line text materials for science, social studies, and pre-algebra by following the instructions below.  The number given at open house was incorrect.  The on-line text also has some of the worksheets that can be printed off if your student forgets or loses one.  In addition, it has an audio feature which will read the text aloud.

1. Go to www.pearsonsuccessnet.com

2. Click Register

3. On the first screen, type the class access code above in the access code field.

4. Follow the instructions to register, and write your user name on the blank line exactly as you typed it.
