Hi!  I am Mrs. Scott.  I have lived in Bloomington most of my life.  I am married and have two children, Alex and Kaitlyn.  I enjoy traveling, reading, bike riding, watching movies and spending time with my family.  We have recently visited the Baseball Hall of Fame, New York City, Long Island, Florida and Niagara Falls.  We are hoping to get out west this summer! 

    I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with Middle School Endorsements in Language Arts and Social Science in 2003.  I am currently going back to school, working towards my Master's Degree is Curriculum & Instruction, focusing on technology.  My first two years of teaching were at Blooming Grove Academy.  I began teaching in District 87 in 2005 at Stevenson Elementary.  In 2007 I taught 6th grade at BJHS.  I am now thrilled to be back "home" at Stevenson.  This is truly a spectacular school with outstanding families, children, and staff!

    I look forward to seeing a year of growth in all of you.  I am so proud and honored to be part of your life.  I am most excited about working with your parents to help you reach your fullest potential academically, socially and emotionally.  I truly believe that you will be most successful if you, your parents and I work together!  Just remember, hard work and a positive attitude will make a big difference in your life!  This is something that holds true, no matter how young or old you are.
