HOW A BILL BECOMES A LAW
1. Answer general questions about how a bill becomes a law in Part I of the
worksheet. You can either print out the
worksheet or save it as a file to your H drive and type in the answers.
2. Visit the
Hot Bills website and Select a Bill to Research
Go to “Search Bill Text.” Type in a subject that
interests you (ex. global warming, war in Iraq, welfare, healthcare, etc.)and
click on "Search." Select a bill that interests you.
3. Complete Part III of Worksheet
Using the information found in question 3,
complete this section of the worksheet.
