Costume wedding attire with a theme-- the Emperor's New Clothes.

During the course of one lifetime, I have managed to:

A) dunk a basketball on a regulation hoop without injuring my knee.
B) card a hole-in-one.
C) attend a wedding in a modified jock strap where I was propositioned by desperate and lonely women
of a certain age well above 70-- one of whom claimed that she was Eve and that I was her Adam..
D) experience a profound sense of relief from a structure with a beautiful view of Paris.
E) spend several hours pouring my soul into a drawing that was categorized as akin to dung during an otherwise positive and friendly critique of student work by a university department head.
F) live a close to, but never actually Normal life.
G) some of the above.
H) none of the above.

What is so special about The Feast?

I have never found a better place to learn what I need.  This week it is all about me.  I want to determine whether I have the knowledge and can access the resources needed to develop a Moodle site that provides permissions for students to post ideas and files with my approval and how I can best use technology to engage students in an ongoing, educational and assessable conversation with meI am also interested in on-line testing, but all the resources I have found have defects in their uploading, review or exam generating routines.
Can you help me?

Can I get away with this attitude?

Unfortunately, the answer is no.  However, this should be your attitude.  What are you ready to try?  There are a variety of people here who are ready to share their expertise, as well as their experiences, and all you have to do is ask.  Remember that the Internal Revenue Tax Codes were not all written in a day.  It took almost one-hundred years to develop the federal income tax structure we experience today.

A)  Identify some things you are ready to work on and make progress this week, while you have access to the time and resources available through The Feast.

B)  Always keep one eye on the future.  If you can't use something because it is not useful, then forget about it.  HOWEVER, IF YOU CAN'T USE SOMETHING BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT READY TO USE IT, THEN MAKE A NOTE OF IT-- THE DAY WILL ARRIVE WHEN YOU ARE READY TO USE IT AND YOU WILL HAVE A HEAD START BECAUSE YOU KNOW THE RESOURCE IS OUT THERE!    I will not get the time I need to solve my problems this week, but I will have access to the people who have the answers I need.
