Lewis and Clark Journal Exploration/ Investigation

Goal: encourage students to explore the journals of Lewis and Clark.

A) Take your own journey with Lewis and Clark: http://www.pbs.org/lewisandclark/into/index.html

Write an entry for two of your experiences with Lewis and Clark.

 B) Journal entries (1804, 1805): You will need to read entries from both years for your response.

C) Images entries (From the Journals, Maps, People & Places, Plants & Animals): You will need to look through each of the four sections for your response.

You will need to divide your paper into 8 sections.

For each section: describe your entry, explain why you selected it, and create a related drawing.

Extra time?

Read the Lewis Death Link and describe what you think happened to Lewis.  Explain your theory.
