Vocabulary Journal

Students generate a question for each page read in the chapter.  A strong emphasis is placed on the level (high/low) of the question using the QAR (Question-Answer Relationship) method. 

Students include a picture and a caption after every stop in  the chapter that represents one thing they learned.

Students add a picture in the journal that represents and supports both the vocabulary definition.
