Study for all your Social Studies tests here: http://www.tutorial.historyalive.com I love listening to podcasts. Below I'll add links to download some podcasts in iTunes. If you don't have iTunes, ask an adult in your house if you can download it. If they say yes, download it for free here. Once you have iTunes, you can download the following podcasts for free: NPR: Most e-mailed Stories Podcast The most popular news stories of the day brought to you by National Public Radio. Often quirky, often entertaining, always interesting. This I Believe Podcast Some of the best minds of the past and present share stories about their fundamental beliefs. Stories about love, life, war, people, death, and the world. Always inspiring. Storycorps Stories told by people like you and me--everyday Joes and Janes. These stories are collected and catalogued in the Library of Congress as primary sources of the American experience. Rapper K'NAAN on Sound Opinions K'Naan is a rapper from Somalia. The story of his life is amazing and inspiring. His music is also darn good (and I'm not a big fan of rap music). He's heavily influenced by early R&B and hip hop with a taste of excellent afrobeat. Check him out talking about his life and playing a few songs live on this podcast. |
