    Please be mindful of the no-parking signs and areas in the residential streets surrounding the BHS Football Stadium.

    Bloomington Police will be ticketing and towing vehicles in restricted areas or blocking driveways.

    Parking is available in the school lots.

  • BHS Athletics is proud to offer a FREE Workshop to all Parents

    We have recently partnered with the Positive Coaching Alliance and will offer a workshop on strategies to optimize your child's experiences in high school sports.  The workshop will be held in conjunction with Parent-Teacher Conferences.

  • SAT: Attention all 11th grade studentsIn order to be promoted to grade 12 and in order to graduate next year, you are required to take the state-mandated SAT on April 10, 2018, at 7:30 a.m. (Juniors will automatically be signed up for this test only.)

    If a student would like to take an additional SAT or ACT at a testing center on a national testing date (Saturdays), he/she should register to do so online through the corresponding websites below. Keep in mind: Only the state-mandated SAT on April 10, 2018 meets the BHS promotion and graduation requirement as stated above.

    BHS has fee waivers for students who qualify for free/reduced lunch. The student should see Mrs. Pollard or Mrs. Jarvis in the Student Affairs office for a fee waiver.

  • RAIDER NIGHT OUT: You are invited to Raider Night Out (RNO), an adult dinner and auction, sponsored by the BHS Booster Club!  Proceeds from the event benefit BHS student activities and athletics.  Tickets are $15 each and include dinner and adult beverages.  Activities for the evening include a Lucky Duck Pond, Silent/Ticket auction, and a Live Auction featuring baskets and items donated from student activities and sports teams.   Enjoy an evening with old friends or take the opportunity to meet other BHS parents and alums!  Get a group together and come join the fun!

  • HEALTH REQUIREMENTS FOR FRESHMAN AND SENIORS

     

    FRESHMAN REQUIREMENTS to avoid first day exclusion.

    • ALL students entering freshman year in high school for the first time are required to submit a current physical. No IHSA Physical will be accepted as a 9th grade physical. The Certificate of Child Health Exam is required by the State of Illinois, and must be dated on or after August 18th, 2016
    • All immunizations must be up to date.
    • Student records showing compliance must be submitted to Bloomington High School before the first day of school.

     

    SENIOR REQUIREMENTS to avoid first day exclusion.

    • ALL students entering senior year are required to submit proof of compliance with the State of Illinois immunization requirement regarding the meningitis vaccine.
    • Student records showing compliance must be submitted to Bloomington High School before the first day of school.
    • The required immunization: Two (2) doses of meningococcal conjugate, with the second dose received after the 16th birthday.
    • If your student is now 16 and has not received any doses, only one dose is required.
    • McLean County Health Department will be here during walk-in registration times: August 3rd 3-6pm, August 4th 8-11am.  Students under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring insurance information.
