    Mrs. Compton has been with District 87 for four years and loves teaching IT. Project-based learning allows students to learn new technology and see real world application.

    Integrated Technology

  • We will learn the  basic functions of a Chromebook as well as Google Workspace. We will also learn proper keyboarding techniques to improve your speed and accuracy while typing. The highlights of the course are the project-based learning opportunities we will create.

    Computer Applications

  • We will learn intermediate functions of a Chromebook as well as Google Workspace. We will also learn proper keyboarding techniques to improve your speed and accuracy while typing. The highlights of the course are the project-based learning opportunities.

  • 8th Grade

    Multimedia Production

  • We will explore a variety of different forms of media. You will get the opportunity to work on tutorials, blogs, podcasts, vlogs, storyboards, and video production. We will also learn what goes into the production of the various forms of media that you come into contact with in your everyday life.
