Welcome to Bent School! 

Hello everyone! 

I am Mr. Reeves and I have been teaching here at Bent School for over 20 years!  

We continue our Illinois Readiness Testing this week.  Students have been giving their best effort and I know they are going to receive great results!

In Math, we have completed work in Unit 4, Relating Multiplication to Division.  We should have our assessment this week as well.    In Language Arts, we have also completed this unit of study, Traditional Tales and World Cultures.  Students will complete their very own traditional tales this week.  In Social Studies we will begin working in chapter 8, How Does Our Economy Work?  Finally, in science we have begun our latest topic, Identifying Inherited Traits. 

Students, please make sure you are focusing on your habits.  Remember, habits are hard to break, good and bad ones.  Let's focus on creating good habits for success in 3rd grade!
