Mrs. Michelle Cervantes
My name is Michelle Cosentino Cervantes. I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist for 28 years and have spent 23 of those years right here in District 87 at Bloomington Junior High School. I truly enjoy teaching students of all ages. In addition to working with your students, I often supervise Illinois State University's Graduate Clinicians and love sharing with them all that I have learned over the years. I am married to Mark and have two daughters, Addison, who is a sophomore nursing student at Illinois State University, and Lauren, who will be a senior at University High School this year. They keep me pretty busy, but when I have free time, I enjoy reading, baking, and watching my girls play sports. I attended Washington Elementary from kindergarten through second grade and often reflect on my time spent with Mrs. Woith, Mrs. Adams, and Mrs. Schultz. I started my education here and hope to finish my career here also. I look forward to interacting with all of you and your students and hope that one day they too will look back on their time at Washington Elementary and remember me with the same fondness with which I remember my teachers. Go Wolves!
