Montana Thomason

Montana Thomason is the choir teacher and assistant musical director at Bloomington Junior High School. Mr. Thomason graduated from Eastern Illinois University in May 2015 with a Bachelor of Music with Teacher Licensure. Besides being a vocalist, he is experienced with the saxophone and piano. This is Mr. Thomason's seventh year teaching, and first year in District 87. He teaches and directs the 5th grade, 6th grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade choirs as well as the Knight Choir, BJHS's extra-curricular choir. Montana resides in Bloomington with his wife, Elizabeth, son Jackson, and daughter Leah. He enjoys watching the Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Cardinals, cooking and baking, travelling, playing volleyball, and having music constantly playing in his head.
