Hello Wolves! My name is Miss Kelli and I am the instructional coach at Washington Elementary School. As a coach, my job is to work alongside teachers as they plan units, create lessons, assess student work, and support their learners. Much like a sports coach, I support teachers in achieving the goals they set for themselves and their students. Washington teachers are some of the most dedicated, knowledgeable, and committed professionals I have ever met. They have big goals for their students and I'm honored to support them in reaching those. 

Before becoming a coach, I worked as a special education teacher serving students with emotional disabilities. My passion for education is rooted in my belief that all students can learn hard things and, having served as an educator for 12 years now, I believe that more than ever. I have a master's in education from the University of Illinois with a focus on diversity and equity and will complete my second master's in educational administration in the spring of 2023. 

I have two little wolves of my own! My sons are in 1st grade and 4th grade. They love being a part of the Washington family. My youngest son loves math and art and my older son loves... well, Fortnite. 

I'm looking forward to our pack having a great school year!
