Normal Rotary
  • The Normal Rotary invites the Bloomington Area Career Center to be represented as guests in their monthly luncheon meetings. The BACC students who are chosen exhibit citizenship, leadership, participation, and scholarship in their BACC program. Students chosen will represent the BACC for the months of September, 2017 through April, 2018. At the end of the school year, the Normal Rotary will choose one of the monthly representatives to receive a $500 scholarship.

    MATTHEW TRIMBLE

     

    Normal West Senior and 2nd Year BACC Criminal Justice student, Matthew Trimble.    Some of his accomplishments are:

    • Competed in the SkillsUSA State and National Competition in 2018 for Crime Scene Investigation.
    • BACC High Achievement Award in Criminal Justice, 2017-2018.
    • Member of the BACC National Technical Honor Society.
    • BACC Student Ambassador 2018-2019.

    Matt plans to enlist in the US Army and attend Western University majoring in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement with the goal of being a police officer.

    BREE O’NEAL

    Bloomington High School Senior and 2nd Year Culinary Art student, Bree O’Neal. Some of her accomplishments are:

    • National Society of High School Scholars
    • BACC Student Ambassador
    • SkillsUSA Vice-President

    Bree plans to major in dietetics or nutrition with a minor in business before opening a business with her twin sister.

    LeRoy High School Senior, and 2nd Year BACC Graphic Design and Video Production student, Hadley McKenzie:

    • Statesmen Award at SkillsUSA
    • SkillsUSA Illinois Officer
    • BACC Technical Honor Society
    • Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop Certified

    Hadley plans to attend Columbia College Chicago for Filmmaking with a goal of becoming a movie director.
